Company

Louis N. Kuenen was born in the Netherlands. He and his son are the general directors of Louis N. Kuenen GmbH. Joanna C.M. Kuenen actively assists her husband and deputises for him. She is head of the financial department.

Further assistance from the family is provided by son Björn Kuenen and son-in-law Peter Rohner. A well-established team of committed staff supports the Kuenen family.

In 1993 the company established its head office right in the heart of Germany, in the town of St. Leon-Rot. It is situated close to the motorway junction “Walldorf” near Heidelberg and to the headquarters of the software company SAP.

The company is dedicated to the import, export and distribution of toys of all kinds, impulse articles for the point of sale, gift articles, and creative material such as painting and drawing accessories.

Kuenen has its own brands: "Kuenen", "Pfiffikus by Kuenen", "Dr. Paint", "Sporty by Kuenen" and "Girlie", but also distributes products of internationally recognised manufacturers, such as Berol (Britain), Djeco (France/China) and Galt (Britain).

Customer care at Kuenen is in the hands of sales director Mrs. Andrea Fields and a strong sales team made up of  Mrs. Michaela Appel and Mr. Adrian Bühler. Customer service for toy retailers is supported by sales agents. Purchasing associations, key accounts and export customers are attended to by Mr. Louis N. Kuenen and Mrs. Andrea Fields in close cooperation.
